Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. We accept Visa, Switch/Maestro, American Express, Delta and Mastercard. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, postal mail or over the Internet. Alternatively you can post a cheque. Delivery will not be despatched until payments have cleared. We do not hold your credit or debit card details - we never even get to see them as they are all processed by Protx & Barclays Bank. When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. If choosing to pay via 'Invoice with order' a papercopy of the invoice will be sent out via postal service on receipt of emailed order. |

Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added unless you are registered disabled by law. Most of the items in our catalogue are zero-rated provided they are purchased by people with disabilities. The prices shown in your shopping basket are for goods with the vat charged and with it excluded. To benefit from the exemption you will need to tick the VAT reliefs for disabled people check box on the checkout page. In the declaration your are asked to specify your disabling condition and to confirm that the goods are for your personal or domestic use. The nature of your condition is classed as sensitive information by the Data Protection Act- see our privacy statement for more details. If the 'VAT reliefs for disabled people' tick box is checked an email will be generated to the customer for them to sign and send back. Goods WILL NOT be despatched until the signed form has been recieved by Welland Medical. |

Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. Guarantee
We guarantee your satisfaction. Welland Medical products are warranted for twelve months. The warranty does not extend to consequential costs resulting from fault clearance, in particular freight and travel costs, loss of earnings, expenses etc. Welland Medical will not accept responsibility for any damage or injury caused by misue or non-observance of user instruction sheets. Multiple usages of Welland products within the 12 month warranty period will not invalidate the warranty. The warranty covers full replacement of the product. If goods are deemed faulty, customers should advise immediately. We will then effect collection at our cost and replacement goods supplied within 48 hours. Where goods are returned due to perceived faults, Welland Medical will quarantine these items in a designated area as laid down in ISO 9001:2000. A response will be made to the customer and faulty items will be disposed of or replaced. If, in the unlikely circumstances that the Medical Devices Directorate is informed of any fault, Welland Medical will follow all of their procedures to the letter. Returns Policy
If you find that any items ordered are unsuitable for you needs, return them to us within 14 days of receipt and we will re-imburse you provided the returned goods are of merchantable quality (i.e. they can be re-sold as new).
